Is hide.me VPN Good for Streaming and Speed?

Class VPN provider that does a lot right!

“I am currently still tied up with a competitor of hide.me, yet I recently bought a monthly subscription from hide.me. The reason for this was that I read in various internet forums that hide.me offers very high transfer rates. But I also found the dynamic multihop function very appealing, because you often search in vain for this feature with competitors. I must honestly say I am highly impressed with hide.me. I've already tested several VPN providers and with a 1 Gigabit line I couldn't get more than 500 Mbit/s download with almost all of them. For distant countries this is a good result, but for neighboring…

ABSOLUTELY NICE!!!!

“I've been using hide.me VPN for a while now, and I have to say it's been a game changer for my online privacy. The fact that it's absolutely free while still delivering impressive performance is a rarity in the VPN market. Key Features: Privacy Protection With hide.me, I no longer have to worry about being tracked online. It effectively masks my IP address and encrypts my internet connection, giving me peace of mind while browsing. Seamless Startup One of the standout features is that it autostarts with my MacBook. This is a huge plus compared to other free VPNs that often require manual activation. It's…

“I'm extremely impressed with the free version of this app. So much so that I'm probably going to go ahead and subscribe to the premium subscription. I was able to start using it immediately and a lot of the reviews I've read said that there's a limit on the speed but I don't have any issues as I've been streaming with it no problem. I'm also extremely impressed with the fact that I didn't have to sign up for anything or give any personally identifying information just to start using it.”

“Everything works stable after the March 2026 update. Using it on a Core Ultra 7 system. The main advantage is the ability to disable WebRTC directly in the settings, which truly hides the real IP.

Checked via IP lookup tools: the IP is detected as residential, not a hosting provider. Because of this, YouTube doesn't block comments. Music streams perfectly without stuttering even on free servers (Netherlands). Thanks for a high-quality product without mandatory registration!”

### Excellent VPN Service

“### Excellent VPN Service – Highly Recommend! I've been using **Hide Me VPN** for the past six months, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Here's why I highly recommend it: **1. Top-Notch Security:** Security is my top priority, and Hide Me VPN delivers exceptional protection. With its strong encryption protocols and a strict no-logs policy, I feel confident that my online activities remain private and secure. The additional features like DNS leak protection and a kill switch provide an extra layer of security, ensuring my data is safe at all times. **2. Lightning-Fast Speeds:** One of the biggest issues…

hide.me VPN - The fastest VPN I have ever used.

“To begin, if you are ever going to get a VPN for any reason, get hide.me. This service is really fast and I mean really fast. On my broadband, I was able to get 340 mbps down and 20 mbps up, which is the maximum speed that my ISP provides. In theory you could get gigabit speeds due to the high end infrastructure hide.me uses. However, if you are going to subscribe to this service, subscribe to the premium plan that is available on their website. With the mobile plan, you only have 1 connection and can not be used on a PC. However, with the premium plan you can get 5 simultaneous connections, unlimited data transfer…

“Hideme runs on my home PC and my android phone seamlessly. It also loads / connects extremely fast . Has many customizable features. Is extremely inexpensive with several subscription options, yearly , 2 year ect ....5/13/25 . Hideme is one of a few that has no mention of a 'proxy' on the paid version. VPN and a VPN proxy are not the same. VPN is a much better/safer option. It looks like the free Hideme version uses a proxy browser ? Confusing - yes .”
